2026: Shining Like a New Diamond

January 24, 2026
January is already off to a sparkling start, and if the rest of 2026 keeps this energy, we’re in for something special.
Work has been full and exciting—especially my new role at North Star Title, where I get to collaborate with an incredibly talented, thoughtful team. Along with the examination and closing work I know and love, I’ve also been able to lean into one of my favorite challenges: team building and culture creation—the kind that turns good teams into great ones. Watching a company take shape and grow from the inside is equal parts challenging, creative, and deeply rewarding.
To kick off the year, I mapped out monthly themes designed to support and inspire the team—think goal setting, time management, public speaking, and elevated customer service. I tend to pick up useful ideas from lots of different places, so the themes are supported by a thoughtfully collected mix of online courses, podcasts, and articles. Growth doesn’t happen by accident, and I love being part of a workplace that treats learning as a priority, not an afterthought.
One of our biggest goals at North Star Title is always to create the most exquisite and efficient customer experience possible. Title insurance shouldn’t just be about a secure policy or a smooth settlement (although those things matter immensely). It’s about making people feel seen, supported, and special—from our attorney clients and realtor partners to the property owners and end users who we insure. This role calls for creativity, clarity, and care, and I’m grateful to get to be a part of work that asks for all three.
And then there’s the other project I’ve been working on… stickers.
Yes. Stickers.
Barely work, all joy.
I’ve been friends (and work-adjacent collaborators) with the brilliant minds at Dark Horse Design for years, and they just get me. Over time, they’ve taught me so much about marketing, branding, and smart business promotion—and I like to think I’ve taught them a thing or two about title insurance along the way. The laptop stickers they’ve designed for other industries kept popping up unexpectedly everywhere in my everyday life, and one day it hit us: Why not title insurance? And just like that, a fun little idea turned into something tangible.
For now, the stickers are simply for fun, and I’m loving handing them out to coworkers, clients, and title friends. I’ll also be bringing them along to upcoming ALTA and NJLTA events, so keep an eye out.
This year also started differently for me on a personal level. When the clock struck midnight on January 1, something shifted. I was lucky to ring in the new year surrounded by my husband, Vinny, and close friends—and suddenly, I felt grounded, joyful, and certain. Certain that good things are ahead.
I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings—the challenges, the changes, the adventures, the lessons, and yes, the rewards. If this January is any indication, we’re just getting started. 💎
P.S. North Star Title Agency’s Winter Food Drive is underway through March 27. If you’d like to donate or contribute, feel free to reach out to me for details—and I’ll be sharing more about the drive in my next blog post.
